Women’s national team: first home matches in Lausanne and Zurich in 2026

The women’s national team will make a guest appearance at the Letzigrund in Zurich.

The Swiss team will face Northern Ireland, Turkey and Malta in the upcoming qualifiers for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil. The national team returns to Lausanne and Zurich for its first two home games.

To kick off the World Cup qualifiers, Rafel Navarro’s team will welcome Northern Ireland to the Stade de la Tuilière on Tuesday, 3 March at 19:00. It will be a first for the Nati at the home ground of FC Lausanne-Sport. Switzerland last played in the Olympic capital in July 2024, when they beat Azerbaijan 3-0. Four days later, they will face Malta at the Centenary Stadium in Attard. The kick-off time will be determined at a later date.

On the third matchday, Switzerland will face Turkey at the Letzigrund in Zurich. The match on Tuesday, 14 April, will kick off at 19:00. The last time the two teams met in Switzerland was in the city on the Limmat. The return match four days later has not yet been scheduled.
